HC Deb 14 December 1911 vol 32 c2690W
Mr. FIELD

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland), whether, in the new building being prepared for the Department, any provision is being made for the accommodation of the representative council of agriculture; and whether up to the present the council have been obliged to meet in premises temporarily borrowed for the purposes of holding their meetings?

Mr. T. W. RUSSELL

The question of accommodation for the Department of Agriculture and the bodies and institutions connected with them in the new buildings referred to is at present the subject of communication between the Department and the Commissioners of Public Works. The Department have made representations as to the necessity of adequate provision for the Council of Agriculture. The answer to the latter part of the question is in the affirmative.
