§ Mr. DELANYasked whether an application for an advance to purchase a holding on the Owens Estate, Turfarney, Rath- 911W downey, Queen's County, has been received by the Estates Commissioners from Frank Scott; can he say on what terms Scott holds the farm, and if under a yearly tenancy, when the tenancy was created; and whether the Commissioners propose making an advance to Scott, and, if so, what amount.
§ Mr. BIRRELL:The Land Commission inform me that Scott has acquired by assignment the interest of the tenant who signed the purchase agreement. The amount of the advance applied for is £2,770. It is stated in the document lodged by the vendor that the tenancy was created prior to 1881. The estate has not yet been inspected.
