§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Commissioners of National Education inform me that the evening school grants are paid as rapidly as possible after the close of the session on receipt in their office of the final reports for the session. The grants are paid to the managers in accordance with the regulations, and it is not intended to make any alteration in this arrangement.
