§ Mr. TYSON WILSONasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the investigations into claims adverse to the Crown which have been made to the foreshore at Seaview, Isle of Wight, have yet been concluded, if so, will he state the result; and, if they are not concluded, can he state how long it will be before they are?
Mr. BUXTONI am advised that the investigations which have taken place do not support the claims adverse to the Crown, and, if they are persisted in, I propose to lay the papers before the Attorney-General with a view to obtaining his sanction to proceedings being taken.
