§ Mr. BIRRELLIn May last a Report of the nature referred to was received by the Department of Agriculture, but particulars on which proceedings could be instituted were not procurable. No further Report has since been received. The Department are doing all in their power to enforce the law as to trawling in the locality referred to. If any person will furnish the local coastguard with such particulars of any2728W case of illegal steam trawling observed by him as will bring it within the operation of the Trawling in Prohibited Areas Prevention Act, 1909, the matter will receive the consideration of the Department.
