§ Mr. PIRIEasked the Lord Advocate whether his attention has been drawn to a resolution passed by certain school boards in Scotland pointing out the desirability that school boards should receive notice of proposed changes in the Code three months before the Code is laid upon the Table of the Houses of Parliament; that three months should elapse between the time it is laid upon the Table and the time when it becomes law; that reasonable facilities should be given for its discussion; and whether he proposes to give effect to the alterations therein suggested?
