§ Sir WILLIAM BULLasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will state how the Khedivial Agricultural Society has fulfilled its functions?
Mr. McKINNON WOODI understand that the Khedivial Agricultural Society has made a very thorough investigation into the history of the most destructive of the cotton insects, the boll-worm, and, as a result of its recommendations, a decree has been passed prescribing certain measures on the part of the fellaheen, which will, it is hoped, help to reduce the ravages caused by this insect.
