HC Deb 04 April 1910 vol 16 c186W
Mr. J. P. FARRELL

asked the Chief Secretary whether Mr. James W. Bond, D.L., of Farragh, county Longford, has, by letter recently written, expressed his desire to sell his grazing farm at Coolcraff, barony of Granard, county Longford, to the Estates Commissioners for sub-division amongst the people, provided that the Commissioners take steps to acquire these lands immediately; and will he direct the attention of that body to the matter, and urge them to act promptly to acquire these lands?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners have no knowledge of the letter to which the hon. Member refers. The lands in question do not appear to be pending for sale before them under the Land Purchase Acts.
