HC Deb 04 April 1910 vol 16 c183W
Mr. HAZLETON

asked whether the Estates Commissioners have yet taken definite action with regard to the case of Mr. Joseph Louden, evicted tenant, Castletown, county Louth; whether they have decided to reinstate him or provide him with new holding; and how soon will the case be settled?

Mr. BIRRELL

The Estates Commissioners inform me that Louden's former holding is in the occupation of another tenant, who has signed an agreement to purchase. The Commissioners offered Louden another holding and he agreed to purchase it, but has recently written to say that he is not prepared to proceed with the purchase. The Commissioners do not propose to take any further action in the matter.
