§ Report from the Special Orders Committee, That they have examined the Regulations as required by the Standing Orders of the House; that in their opinion the Regulations do not raise important questions of policy and principle: they comply with the terms of the Road Traffic Act, 1930, under which the Regulations are submitted for approval; that the Regulations are founded on precedent inasmuch as similar Regulations have been submitted for the approval of Parliament under the Act, although those Regulations dealt with other matters; that in the opinion of the Committee the Regulations can be passed by the House without special attention, and that no further inquiry is necessary before the House proceeds to a decision on the Resolution to approve the said Regulations:
§ Read, and ordered to lie on the Table.
