Report from the Select Committee, That the Committee had not proceeded with the consideration of the Bill, no parties having appeared in opposition thereto; read, and ordered to lie on the Table: The Orders made on the 21st of May last and Tuesday last discharged, and Bill committed: The Committee to meet forthwith.

Bill reported, with Amendments, with a Report from the Chairman of Committees under Standing Order No. 95, that in his opinion the Bill should be proceeded with as an opposed Bill: Bill re-committed: The Committee to be proposed by the Committee of Selection.

Report from the Committee of Selection, That the five Lords appointed a Select Committee on the Southampton Corporation Bill and other Bills do form the Select Committee for the consideration of the Surrey County Council Bill: Read, and agreed to, with leave to the Promoters to be heard by Counsel if they see fit.
