§ The LORD CHANCELLOR acquainted the House that there had been deposited with the Clerk of the Parliaments the book referred to as "the deposited book" in a Measure passed by the National Assembly of the Church of England, under the Church of England Assembly (Powers) Act, 1927, and entitled the Prayer Book Measure, the said book authenticated by the signatures of the Archbishop of Canterbury and of the Archbishop of York.
