Petition of James, Marquess and Earl of Salisbury, Viscount Cranborne and Baron Cecil; that he may be permitted to appear and be heard before the Committee for Privileges by his Counsel and Agents in opposition to the said claim of the said Edith Maud Countess of Loudoun and Elizabeth Frances Viscountess St. Davids; and that he may be at liberty to cross-examine such witnesses as the said Claimants may produce, and to lodge a printed case and to produce such evidence in contradiction of any evidence that may be produced by the said Claimants, and also such evidence as will support the Petitioner's right and title to the said Earldom of Salisbury as the Petitioner may be advised to be material for the protection of his rights and interests, and that he may be allowed reasonable time to prepare his case and evidence; read, and referred to the Committee for Privileges.

Petition of Francis, Earl Brooke, of Warwick Castle, Earl of Warwick and Baron Brooke, of Beauchamp's Court, praying that he may be permitted to appear and be heard before the Committee for Privileges by his Counsel and Agents in opposition to the said claim of the said Edith Maud Countess of Loudoun and Elizabeth Frances Viscountess St. Davids; and that he may be at liberty to cross-examine such witnesses as the said Claimants may produce and to lodge a printed case and to produce such evidence in contradiction of any evidence that may be produced by the said Claimants, and also such evidence as will support his right and title to the said Earldom of Warwick as he may be advised to be material for the protection of his rights and interests, and that he may be allowed reasonable time to prepare his case and evidence; read, and referred to the Committee for Privileges.

Countess of Loudoun and Elizabeth Frances Viscountess St. Davids; and that they may be at liberty to cross-examine such witnesses as the said Claimants may produce and lodge jointly a printed case, and to produce such evidence in contradiction of any evidence that may be produced by the said joint Claimants, and also such evidence as will support their right and title to the said Earldoms of Warwick and of Salisbury as they may be advised to be material for the protection of their rights and interests, and that they may be allowed reasonable time to prepare their joint case and evidence; read, and referred to the Committee for Privileges.
