7.—(1) This paragraph applies to a notification under old section 28(1) given—

  1. (a) before the commencement of the Wildlife and Countryside (Amendment) Act 1985; or
  2. (b) after the commencement of that Act but preceded by a notice under section 28(2) as originally enacted, given during the six months immediately preceding that commencement.

(2) In relation to a notification to which this paragraph applies, the reference in section 28A(1) to—

  1. (a) notice given under section 28(5)(b) confirming a notification with or without modifications, and
  2. (b) the confirmed notification,
shall be construed as a reference to the notification under old section 28(1).
