§ Lord Williams of MostynMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 3. This is a technical amendment only. Clause 1(4) provides a power to amend Clause 1 and Schedule 1 to reflect protocols which have become binding on the United Kingdom. There is also a reference in Clause 21(1) of the Bill, so we took the view that a wider power was not needed. We thought the neatest way of doing this was to leave out "section or Schedule 1" and insert "Act". I beg to move.
