§ Lord CarterMy Lords, in between today's two debates, my noble friend the Leader of the House will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the G8 Summit. I would like to take this opportunity to remind the House that the Companion indicates that the discussion on the Statement should be confined to brief comments and to questions for clarification.
