Page 1, line 8, after ("bets") insert ("on any event").
§ The noble Lord said: I shall not weary the Committee because this is purely a technical amendment to make it perfectly clear that the Horserace Totalisator Board will not be able to take bets on the British National Lottery. Amendments Nos. 1 and 2 are both technical amendments to that effect. I beg to move.
