The Right Honourable Sir Donald James Nicholls, Knight, Vice-Chancellor, having been appointed a Lord of Appeal in Ordinary and thereby created a Baron for life, by the style and title of Baron Nicholls of Birkenhead, of Stoke D'Abernon in the County of Surrey—Was, in his robes, introduced between the Lord Taylor of Gosforth and the Lord Woolf.
