§ The Lord Chancellor (Lord Mackay of Clashfern)My Lords, I have to acquaint the House that the Clerk of the Parliaments has received notification from the Clerk to the Justices of the Manchester City Magistrates' Court to the effect that Lord Monkswell was, on 14th March 1994, convicted at that court of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and was sentenced to 14 weeks' imprisonment and ordered to pay £150 compensation.
