HL Deb 27 June 1994 vol 556 c530

3.7 p.m.

Viscount Ullswater

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m., my noble friend the Leader of the House will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the European Council in Corfu.

Lord Simon of Glaisdale

My Lords, your Lordships will certainly wish to hear that Statement. However, in view of the Government's proposals on the distance we have to go on the Deregulation and Contracting Out Bill I would point out that there will be no convenient moment after 3.30 p.m.
