§ Lord McIntosh of HaringeyMy Lords, I beg to present a Petition from the National Romany Rights Association containing some 3,000 signatures which prays that this House will amend the Criminal Justice and Public Order Bill to prevent the repeal of the Caravan Sites Act 1968 and alleviate the misery and suffering which the petitioners foresee if the proposed legislation is allowed to pass into law unchallenged.
