My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 17. When the Bill left your Lordships' House to go to another place it was necessary to insert a provision to avoid questions of privilege and to create no doubt that fiscal matters are in the hands of another place. Now that the Bill has been through another place, the provision is redundant and should therefore be deleted.
