HL Deb 02 November 1993 vol 549 c1000

3.5 p.m.

The Chairman of Committees (Lord Ampthill)

My Lords, I beg to move the first Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper. The purpose of the Motion is to invite this House to agree with the various orders made by the other place last week in connection with carrying over into the next Session of Parliament certain Private Bills which have not completed their legislative stages in the present Session. The second Motion standing in my name has the same purpose. The second Motion is necessarily more detailed than the first because it deals with Bills which originated in this House and which therefore must be deposited again here whereas the first Motion deals with Bills which originated in the Commons. I beg to move.

Moved, That this House do agree with the orders made by the Commons set out in their Message of 28th October.—(The Chairman of Committees.)

On Question, Motion agreed to, and a Message sent to the Commons to acquaint them therewith.
