My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House to know that the Committee stage of the European Communities (Amendment) Bill will be adjourned at about 7 p.m. for about one hour and that during this adjournment the one-hour Unstarred Question in the name of the noble Countess, Lady Mar, will be taken. Following the recent agreement by the House to this new procedure for time-limiting dinner break Unstarred Questions, no speech on the Question should exceed 12 minutes in length.
