My Lords, I beg to present a Petition from the Nottingham Young People's Benefit Campaign and the Scottish Association for Youth Care and Justice which prays that this House will restore the right to income support to 16 and 17 year-olds who cannot find work or a suitable youth training place, and that it will abolish age-related benefits for under 25 year-olds who are living independently and give them instead the same benefits as those aged 25 or over. This Petition bears 11,000 signatures.
