HL Deb 07 July 1993 vol 547 c1394

3.6 p.m.

Viscount Long

My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House to know that the Committee stage of the Railways Bill will be adjourned at about 7 p.m. and that during this adjournment the one-hour Unstarred Question in the name of my noble friend Lady Sharpies will be taken. Following the recent agreement by the House to this new procedure for time-limiting dinner break Unstarred Questions, the maximum time for each speaker will be five minutes, save for the opener, who is allowed 10 minutes, and the Minister, who is allowed 12 minutes.
