§ Viscount UllswaterMy Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. my noble friend the Leader of the House will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade.
I know that it is for the convenience of the House to have as much advance notice as possible of the times of our Recesses. On the eve of the Christmas Recess it may therefore be for the convenience of the House if I were to indicate that, subject to the progress of business, it is expected that the House will rise for the Easter Recess on Thursday 31st March and that the House will return on Monday 11 th April.
