HL Deb 12 November 1992 vol 540 cc329-30

3.45 p.m.

Baroness Lockwood rose to move, That the proceedings of Wednesday 4th November be vacated.

The noble Baroness said: My Lords, when the Bill received its Third Reading I omitted to move the usual privilege amendment before the Bill was sent to the Commons. Such an amendment is necessary because of the financial implications of the Bill. The purpose of the Motion, therefore, is to enable the error to be corrected by giving the Bill another Third Reading and including the privilege amendment before the Bill is finally sent to the Commons. I beg to move.

Moved, That the proceedings of Wednesday 4th November be vacated.—(Baroness Lockwood.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Bill read a third time; an amendment (privilege) made; Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.
