My Lords, on behalf of my noble and learned friend Lord Goff of Chieveley, I beg to introduce a Bill to replace the Bills of Lading Act 1855 with new provisions with respect to bills of lading and certain other shipping documents. I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
