§ Lord WakehamMy Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House to know that at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. a Statement will be repeated in this House which is to be made in another place by my right honourable friend the Prime Minister. In view of the constitutional importance of the Statement, and with the agreement of the Leaders of the other parties and of the Convener of the Cross-Benchers, I have asked my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor to repeat the Statement on my behalf.
