§ In its 3rd report, session 1990–91 (H.L. Paper 69), the Committee recommended that from the beginning of the present parliamentary session it should have four subcommittees with new responsibilities, as follows—
- (i) Finance and Staff;
- (ii) Administration and Works;
- (iii) Library and Computers;
- (iv) Refreshment.
§ The Committee also recommended that the new sub-committees should have not more than 11 members each and that in deciding the membership of sub-committees greater weight should be given to expert knowledge and relevant experience than to strict party balance.
