§ The Chairman of Committees
My Lords, I beg to move the fourth Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

§ Moved, That as proposed by the Committee of Selection the following Lords be named of the Select Committee appointed to consider the committee work of the House—

Bancroft, L.
Beaverbrook, L.
Boston of Faversham, L.
Dormand of Easington, L.
Jellicoe, E. (Chairman)
Kearton, L.
Pym, L.
Thurlow, L.
Tordoff, L.

§ That the committee have power to adjourn from place to place;

§ That the committee have leave to report from time to time;

§ That the minutes of evidence taken before the committee from time to time be printed and if the committee thinks fit delivered out;

§ That the proceedings of the Select Committee on the committee work of the House in the last Session of Parliament be referred to the committee;

§ That the committee have power to appoint specialist advisers;

§ That the committee do meet on Tuesday, 12th November at 3.30 p.m. in Committee Room 4.—(The Chairman of Committees.)
