My Lords, I beg to introduce a Bill to make provision for repeals, consequential amendments, transitional and transitory matters and savings in connections with the consolidation of enactments in the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1991 and the Social Security Administration Act 1991 (including provisions to give effect to recommendations of the Law Commission and the Scottish Law Commission). I beg to move that this Bill be now read a first time.
