§ The Chairman of Committees (Lord Aberdare)My Lords, I beg to move the Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper. This Motion and the following two Motions arise as a result of the appointment of the noble Lord, Lord Hesketh, as Chief Whip in place of the noble Lord, Lord Denham, and the fact that the Chief Whip is ex officio a member of these three committees.
§ Moved, That the Lord Hesketh be appointed a member of the Select Committee in place of the Lord Denham. —(The Chairman of Committees.)
