1B Line 14, at end insert ("(2A) A court shall make an order under subsection (1) above whenever it passes a sentence of imprisonment for life.") The Commons disagreed to Lords Amendment No. 1B for the following reason

1BA Because it is incompatible with the possibility of passing a life sentence under Clause 2(2) (a) of the Bill.
