5 Clause 28, page 21, line 20, leave out subsections (2) to (4).

The Commons disagreed to the above amendment but proposed the following amendments to the words so restored to the Bill:

5A Page 21, line 21, leave out 'and' and insert 'together'.

5B Page 21, line 22, leave out 'a life prisoner on licence' and insert 'on licence a life prisoner who is not a discretionary life prisoner'.

5C Page 21, line 26, leave out subsection (4).
