My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. my noble friend Lord Cavendish will, with the leave of the House, repeat in the form of a Statement an Answer to a Private Notice Question in another place on lost diplomatic bags in Wandsworth Prison.

It may be for the convenience of the House to know that the Committee stage of the Local Government Bill will be adjourned at about 7 p.m. for about one hour and that during this adjournment the Waltham Forest Housing Action Trust (Area and Constitution) Order 1991 and the Criminal Justice Act 1988 (Designated Countries and Territories) Order 1991 will be taken.

It may also be for the convenience of the House to know that, subject to the progress of business, the House will rise for the Christmas Recess on Thursday 19th December and return on Thursday 9th January. The House will sit at 11 a.m. on Thursday 19th December before retiring to celebrate the Christmas period.
