§ Lord StrathclydeMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 219. The amendment seeks to ensure that competent written objections to a licensing 1671 application submitted to a licensing board are considered by the board whether or not the objector appeals at the hearing of the application.
