Lord Fraser of Carmyllie

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 9. This is a clarifying amendment intended to make clear the meaning of Clause 4(13). That subsection provides a sanction against bodies who have failed to prepare a statement of accounts under subsection (9) within a time limit which I will be able to stipulate, or who have failed under subsection (12) to have provided a copy of its accounts or information as to its accounting reference date to a person who requests it.

Moved, That the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 9:—(Lord Fraser of Carmyllie.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
