My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House to know that, subject to the progress of business, Parliament will be prorogued on Thursday 1st November.

It may also be for the convenience of the House if I announce that, subject to the progress of business, the Consideration of Commons Amendments to the Law Reform (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Scotland) Bill may be adjourned at about 7 p.m. for about an hour. In that event the Hovercraft (Application of Enactments) (Amendment) Order 1990, the European Commission and Court of Human Rights (Immunities and Privileges) (Amendment) Order 1990, the Crown Agents (Additional Powers) Order 1990 and the Parliamentary Constituencies (Scotland) (Miscellaneous Changes) Order 1990 will be taken in that break.
