§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House to agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 28.
Your Lordships will remember that Clause 43(7) was a privilege amendment made while the Bill was passing through this House in its earlier stages to avoid infringing the privilege of the other place to control charges on public funds. The Bill has now been considered in the other place where the privilege amendment was removed.
