My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House to know that the Committee stage of the Environmental Protection Bill will be adjourned at about 7.30 p.m. for about an hour, and that during that adjournment the Report stage of the Horses (Protective Headgear for Young Riders) Bill will be taken.

At a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m., my noble friend the Leader of the House will repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the Carlton Club explosion.
