My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Ferrers will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on disturbances in Her Majesty's Prison, Manchester.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the National Health Service and Community Care Bill will be adjourned at about 7 p.m. for about one hour and that during this adjournment the Committee stage of the European Parliament Electoral Reform Bill will be taken.
