§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, Amendments Nos. 314, 316 and 317 make grammatical improvements, inserting the plural for the singular in relation to the action of a local authority, in common with the style elsewhere in the Bill.
Amendment No. 315 makes the decision as to which local authority should act as supervisor dependent on whether the child lives or will live in its area.
Amendment No. 318 removes the words,
(under this or any other enactment)" from paragraph 10 of Schedule 3.This suggests that a care or supervision order can be made under another enactment than This Bill which is certainly now not correct. I beg to move.
§ Moved, That this House do agree with the Commons in the said amendments —(The Lord Chancellor.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
