§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 205 and 206. These amendments are concerned with the disqualification of persons from acting as private foster parents. These are people who, for example, have committed offences or have failed to notify the presence of a disqualified person in their household to the local authority. Amendment No. 205 corrects a drafting error by replacing the reference to "the child" with a reference to
any child who has been in his care".Amendment No. 206 makes a minor drafting improvement.
