My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 p.m. this afternoon, my noble friend Lord Glenarthur will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the events in China and the implications for Hong Kong.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Report stage of the Water Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7.30 p.m. for approximately one hour and that during this adjournment the Committee stage of the Licensing (Amendment) Bill will be taken.
