24 Page 39, line 42, at end insert— '. Paragraph 23 of Schedule 2 to the Telecommunications Act 1984 (application of telecommunications code) shall apply to the holders of operators' licences under Part II of this Act for the purposes of the operations authorised by their licences.'.

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 24.

This is a technical amendment to Schedule 4 to the Bill. It would require driver information system operators to follow the procedures laid down in the telecommunications code where proposed installation or maintenance works are likely to affect apparatus belonging to telecommunications operators.
