§ Lord Cocks of HartcliffeMy Lords, I beg to present a petition from tenants of Withywood, 724 Bristol, which prays that this House will amend Part IV of the Housing Bill so that more than 50 per cent. of those eligible to vote have to be in favour of the proposition to choose a new landlord for it to proceed, and so that the vote be conducted by an independent body and by secret ballot. The petition bears 841 signatures.
