HL Deb 14 November 1988 vol 501 c837
The Principal Deputy Chairman of Committees (Baroness Serota)

My Lords, I do not at this stage propose to move on behalf of the noble Lord the Chairman of Committees the two Motions standing in his name on the Order Paper. As indicated on the Order Paper, the Motions can only be moved when appropriate Messages have been received from another place.

I understand that not all the Messages have yet arrived and, with the leave of the House, I propose to move the Motions at a later stage in today's business—I hope, following the Motions for the approval of the two weights and measures orders. As soon as the Messages arrive they will be placed in the Printed Paper Office.
