HL Deb 02 November 1988 vol 501 c274

81 Clause 77, page 31, line 23, leave out subsection (6).

Lord Young of Graffham

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 81. In so doing, I will speak also to Amendments Nos. 83, 174 and 183. These are all "tidying-up" amendments.

At present, the term "sufficient disclaimer" is defined in both Clauses 77 and 78. This is unnecessary duplication. The amendments therefore move the definition of "sufficient disclaimer" to Clause 168, which contains most defined terms, and provide an entry for the index in Clause 169.

Moved, That the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 81.—(Lord Young of Graffham.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
